The Fratoni family, generation after generation, produces and markets extra virgin olive oil made by different olives like “Carboncella”, “Leccino”, “Dritta”, “Gentile” and “Frantoio”: they all come from the Piceno (Marche region) and Aprutino (Abruzzo region) area.

In fact, the peculiarity in Fratoni’s oil production is the milling process: this lasts from October until the end of December. Green olives, at the first stage of their ripening, release an intense and spicy blend. Ripe olives, instead, release a much lighter and soft taste.
The Fratoni’s Family supervises the entire process, starting from picking, and it is important to know that the olives are milled within maximum 12 hours from the harvest.
Another peculiarity of the company, with no doubts, is the “first cold pressing”. During this stage, the product stays below 27°C, allowing the oil to keep its characteristics and the intake of vitamins unchanged. For all the process, Fratoni’s family use Pieralisi Machines from 51 years
