Olive Oil Plants

BATCH PROCESSING
In the event of batch processing, the oil originating from every single batch must be kept separate from all the other batches and identified with the owner.
The olives therefore need to be kept separate throughout the entire processing cycle. This way, each batch is registered with its own yield and pressing costs.
The aim of the oil mill is to satisfy the expectations of its customers, who want to be sure they are taking their own oil home.
To achieve this, the processing plant must have all the specific characteristics to be perfectly suited to processing individual batches easily.
To obtain a good quality oil, the oil mill operator must be able to check the process thanks to state-of-the-art systems for adjusting and monitoring parameters such as temperature, time, flow rate, washing, etc. These parameters must be easy to modify and adapt, where necessary, to suit the individual characteristics of each batch.

Designed specifically for batch processing, the oil discharge device inside the drum is designed to discharge all the oil inside the drum every time a batch of olives has been processed, with the addition of a little water.

INDUSTRIAL PROCESSING
In industrial processing, the olives are selected according to their varietal and, in many cases, to their origin: olives picked from the plant and olives collected from the ground. A sample is taken from each batch to determine the weight and the information is collected together with all the customer's data; the olives are then stored together pending commencement of processing.

The extraction process therefore runs seamlessly without interruption as the machines are only stopped for cleaning and maintenance operations.

This type of extraction process completely optimises the malaxing volume and reduces down times by continuously feeding the decanter and consequently increasing the output of the plant.
With this system, the adjustment of processing times and temperatures is a very simple task, thanks to the homogeneity of the product and the continuity of the process.
The malaxing times are programmed during the design stage by setting the malaxing section in accordance with the hourly flow rate of the decanter, and setting standard temperatures in order to reach the right temperature during the malaxing process.
