John Verberne, owner of Loonbedrijf Verberne, tells us: "Farmers get in touch with me to empty their manure storage tanks. Separating the raw manure with a Pieralisi decanter means obtaining two products: the first, a solid cake with high phosphate levels and the second, a nitrogenous liquid that the farmer can spread over his land.
This allows the farmer to dispose of the fertilizer efficiently according to the strict government restrictions that came into force on 1st January 2014.”
The mobile system is a solution designed by two key suppliers: Pieralisi and EPM automation.
Pieralisi is the supplier of the decanter centrifuge driven by a complete hydrostatic transmission and combined with a PLC control panel.
EPM automation is the trailer manufacturer and supplies all other ground equipment such as the crusher, pumps, screw conveyors and generator.
On completion of the mechanical construction, Pieralisi takes care of the complete electrical wiring.
The result is a custom-built, mobile decanter centrifuge with a mission: The utmost reliability right on-site!
John Verberne continues: "After working with the JUMBO series for 12 years, we started with the first MAMMOTH 570/3 in 2012. The idea was to increase our capacity up to 35m3/h, reducing fixed costs such as working hours and fuel consumption. Another great advantage is that maintenance costs have been reduced by 60% compared to the JUMBO ".
John Verberne has been working with three Pieralisi MAMMOTH 570/3 mobile decanter centrifuges since 2015.
With a total capacity of over 4 thousand tonnes of manure a year, Loonbedrijf Verberne is the largest manure separation company in the Netherlands. Its three Pieralisi decanter centrifuges guarantee the utmost flexibility and superior power.
